The Upper Uwchlan Township Board of Supervisors took time at their monthly meeting to recognize both members of our police department and a long time volunteer for outstanding dedication and service to our community. The Board of Supervisors presented the following awards:
George Parshall was presented with a Distinguished Service Award. George has dedicated over 30 years of service to the community, providing emergency medical services to our residents.
Detective Thomas Jones was presented with a Service Award for the completion of 20 years of service.
Corporal Joseph Carr was presented with a Service Award for the completion of 15 years of service.
Chief John DeMarco, Detective Thomas Jones, and Officer Kyle Sherman were presented with a Lifesaving Award for their actions in saving a life in October, 2012.
