Yard waste collection. Place yard waste materials curbside the night before to guarantee collection. Use biodegradable bags or open containers (no lids attached) as these materials are composted. Do NOT use Township-Provided toter carts or plastic bags. Branches (< 3" diameter) must be bundled with twine and no larger than 3' x 3' bundles or placed in open containers.
The monthly meeting of the Park & Recreation Board. The public is invited to attend.
The Township Office will be closed Monday, February 20, 2023, Presidents' Day. There will be trash and recycling collection for those residents with Monday service. Materials should be placed curbside Sunday night to guarantee collection Monday, February 20.
The February 21, 2023 Emergency Management Planning Commission (EMPC) meeting will be a Fire Services Roundtable. Representatives from each of the four fire companies that serve Upper Uwchlan Township - Lionville Fire Company, Ludwigs Corner Fire Company, East Brandywine Fire Company and Glen Moore Fire Company - will provide an overview of their organization, interactively discuss issues associated with firefighting and emergency response in Upper Uwchlan, and field questions from the Commission members and the public. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the roundtable. The public is invited to attend.
The February 2023 meeting of the Board of Supervisors will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023 due to Presidents' Day on Monday, February 20. The public is invited to attend.
The monthly meeting of the Township Municipal Authority, where public sanitary sewer topics are discussed, will be held virtually. Any member of the public interested in participating should email authority@upperuwchlan-pa.gov for a link to join the meeting. The public is invited to attend.
