Upper Uwchlan Offices to Return to 140 Pottstown Pike

Exciting news – we’re moving back! After just over a year of construction, the renovation to the Township Building and Police Station at 140 Pottstown Pike is nearly complete. Our office remains CLOSED to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the Upper Uwchlan Township Administration staff will begin conducting operations out of the renovated Township Building at 140 Pottstown Pike starting May 26, 2020. The Police will continue to operate at the 520 Milford Road location until early June.

Mailing Address and Payments

General correspondence may now be sent to 140 Pottstown Pike, Chester Springs, PA 19425. The mailing address for payments will stay the same: P.O. Box 437, Uwchland, PA 19480. OR pay online! Visit upperuwchlan-pa.gov and click the online payment button on the home page.


Payment Box

The payment box which had been installed at the temporary office on Eagleview Blvd has been moved back to 140 Pottstown Pike and is now accessible from the driver’s side of your vehicle.

Property Tax Relief

On Monday, May 18 the Board of Supervisors passed a Resolution implementing the property tax relief provisions of Act 15 of 2020,

There will be no late penalties imposed on 2020 Upper Uwchlan Township Property Taxes, provided the tax is paid in full by December 31, 2020. Read the Board of Supervisors' Resolution here.

Stay-at-Home Guidance 

Upper Uwchlan Township remains under the Stay-at-Home order. The color coded phases outlined by the Governor will be applied regionally. Chester County will continue to operate under the Red Phase until further notice. The guidelines for the Red Phase are outlined below.

Park and Trail Safety During COVID-19

Upland Farms is the ONLY Upper Uwchlan Township park that is open at this time. Please be sure to observe social distancing guidelines. Dispose of trash properly, and pick up after your pets. These guidelines should also be followed if you are using a Township trail or sidewalk. If you feel sick, do not use parks or trails.


Upland Farms is currently OPEN. Safety Rules: Maintain 6 foot distance; Stay home if sick; Dispose of trash and pet waste properly.

PA Primary - Vote by Mail

The Pennsylvania Primary Election will now be held on June 2, 2020. Voters have the option to vote by mail-in ballot rather than going to their polling place on election day. Any registered PA voter may choose to vote by mail. 

Mail-in ballot applications will be accepted through Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
