Update 9/9/2019 - The full depth reclamation and re-paving of Park Road has been delayed. Announcement of the new expected schedule will be posted on the Township website as soon as information is available.
CHESTER SPRINGS, PA – Work on the Park Road Trail project continues ahead of schedule and is nearing completion. Re-construction and paving of Park Road between Moore Road and Marsh Creek State Park is expected to begin the week of September 9, 2019.
This paving will include full depth reclamation of the cartway. Lane restrictions will be in effect on Park Road during the paving. Entrances to the Heron Hill loop may be alternately closed, with ingress and egress from either the east or west intersection only. This will allow for complete and level resurfacing to connect Heron Hill to the new surface on Park Road. Similarly, the main and emergency entrances to Marsh Harbour may be alternately closed for paving of each.
Final punch list items, including the construction and lining of crosswalks, seeding, and general cleanup, will be completed after the trail and roadway paving is finished.
Questions about the project can be directed to Upper Uwchlan Township at 610-458-9400.
