Milford Road Bridge Construction – Steel Beam Installation

Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission contractor Deblin Construction is scheduled to set the steel beams for at the Milford Road Bridge construction site on the following dates:

Wednesday, August 14th into Thursday, August 15th - The steel beams for the eastbound lanes will be set. Construction activity will take place throughout the evening as crews prepare to set the beams. The Turnpike will close shortly before midnight and will remain closed until approximately 5:00 AM while crews set the beams. There will be construction activity throughout the night.

Friday, August 16th into Saturday, August 17th - The steel beams for the westbound lanes will be set. Construction activity will take place throughout the evening as crews prepare to set the beams. The Turnpike will close shortly before midnight and will remain closed until approximately 5:00 AM while crews set the beams. There will be construction activity throughout the night.

Residents may observe staging for this work along Milford Road and Edgefield Drive on the days of the planned construction.

The Turnpike Commission’s road closure procedure will be in effect during the overnight closure and different traffic patterns may be seen – the system will adjust based on volume.
