CHESTER SPRINGS, PA – The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is set to replace the Milford Road Bridge in Upper Uwchlan Township this year. Milford Road spans the Turnpike at milepost 309.2. The project has been awarded and the detour is expected to be implemented no sooner than Monday, March 4, 2019. The detour uses Little Conestoga Road, Park Road, Pottstown Pike (Route 100) and Font Road. Attached at the link is a map detailing the detour route. Motorists are advised to allow extra time for travel through this region of the Township during the duration of the detour. The expected project completion date is no later than Friday, October 25, 2019.
