Community Park Coming Soon to Village of Eagle

CHESTER SPRINGS, PA – Construction activity has begun at the southeast corner of Pottstown Pike and Station Boulevard in Upper Uwchlan Township. The site, which totals nearly one acre, will soon be home to the Township’s newest park, a community space adjacent to the Township Building and Police Department.

The vision for the park, as developed by the Upper Uwchlan Township Village Concept Committee, is that of a community gathering space and public plaza. Keeping with the quaint aesthetic of the Village of Eagle, the park will feature shade trees and other landscaping, along with benches and chess tables for peaceful recreation. The park will also serve as a connecting space between the trail systems within the Township.

The Upper Uwchlan Township Board of Supervisors invites residents to explore the new park at the upcoming 10th Annual Block Party to be held on June 16, 2018. This annual event takes place along Pottstown Pike in Eagle. At the Block Party, suggestions for a name for the new park will be collected. Stop by the Park and Recreation Board table to submit a suggestion.
