Our Mission
The Building Department shall protect the health, safety, welfare, natural resources, and historic resources of the township to promote and improve the quality of life for all residents in accordance with the township ordinances.Building Code Purpose
The purpose of the building code is to provide minimum requirements to safeguard public safety, health, and general welfare. To do so, the code addresses affordability, structural strength, means of egress, stability, sanitation, light and ventilation, energy conservation, and the safety of life and property from fire and other hazards.Permits
The Building Department issues permits for a variety of construction activities for every building and structure in the township. View a list of construction activities requiring a permit.Residential Resale Use & Occupancy
