Property Permits

If you are selling your home in Upper Uwchlan Township, a Use & Occupancy Inspection is required. This inspection is in addition to any other inspections you may schedule.

The seller or their agent must contact the Township to schedule an appointment for one of our building inspectors to determine that walkways, driveways, decks, handrails, smoke detectors, etc. are in "good working order." A request form must be filled out, and the $60 fee paid prior to this inspection. Also included on this form will be your trash and/or sewer certification, which is required at the time of settlement.

Please schedule your appointment at least two weeks prior to settlement.

Please mail the following form with a check for $60.00 (payable to Upper Uwchlan Township). This includes the inspection, trash and sewer certification.
