Snow Removal Bid

The Board of Supervisors of Upper Uwchlan Township is accepting bids to perform Snow Removal Services for the 2010-2011 snow removal season -- individual pieces of equipment, with operators. Contractors may bid on all equipment needed or on individual pieces of equipment needed. All equipment bid must be in good working order and Pennsylvania road legal. Specifications are on file and may be obtained by prospective bidders at the Upper Uwchlan Township Building (140 Pottstown Pike, Chester Springs (Eagle) PA 19425) Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Proposals must be received by the Township Secretary prior to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2010 in a sealed envelope clearly marked "SNOW REMOVAL BID", accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the Township Office. The Contracts will be awarded at the Board of Supervisors meeting Monday, July 19, 2010 or a subsequent meeting as determined to be in the best interest of Upper Uwchlan Township. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. The public is invited to attend.
